Program Description:

The panelists are on the front line of implementation of PPP. Even after initial SBA difficulties, there have been numerous unanticipated difficulties for lenders to implement and track PPP. The panelists will share lessons learned and offer observations going forward.

About the Speakers:

Allyson Baker is chair of Venable's Financial Services practice and co-chair of the Consumer Financial Services practice . Allyson is a trial attorney, civil litigator, and counselor with significant experience in the federal government and private practice. Allyson represents consumer finance companies and individuals in confidential, non-public investigations initiated by the CFPB’s Office of Enforcement, state attorneys general, FTC, state banking agencies, and DOJ. She also serves as litigation counsel for financial services companies, advises on consumer financial laws, and provides strategic and risk management counsel to consumer finance companies dealing with the CFPB and other federal and state law enforcement and regulatory agencies.


After spending much of his career with SunTrust, Jeremy recently joined Farm Bureau Bank as Chief Client Officer. Jeremy was immediately thrown into PPP and successfully led the bank’s making $10 of millions of these loans to borrowers nationwide. Jeremy is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
